These are the materials you will need to create the tag card. The folding tag card has been made with plain kraft cardstock. The tag, once folded, measures 3" wide x 4" tall.
Distress and layer patterned paper tag as shown. PLEASE NOTE - only place glue in the centre of the tag to attach for now as a chain needs to be added behind it later.
Attach leaves as shown.
Attach berry bunches as shown.
Attach pink flower as shown. I pulled the flower apart so there were only the petals used.
Add some contrasting cotton thread.
Layer on 2 roses as shown.
Attach final rose along with heart and word banner as shown.
Now attach MUM to the top of the larger rose as shown.
Now make a 2 bows from contrasting ribbon and attach to the paper tag only. I added a Debutante brad to the centre of the top bow for added bling. PLEASE SEE next step for picture.
Showing how to attach bows and front paper tag.
Attach other patterned paper tag to the inside on the tag as shown.
Attach the FOR YOU tag to the tassel with a split ring. I also added a contrasting brad for added bling.
Now attach the tassel Buckle through the holes on the top of the card only as shown. This will then hold the card closed.
Your tag card is now finished and ready to give to your mum.
