How to create a milk maid braid

Part your hair in the center of your head.

For control, spray a small amount of hair spray into your roots.

Braid each half of your hair into a separate braid.

Make sure to pull back and down as you go. Ta da! One half done. Now, for the other.

Second braid done!

Wrap the first braid forward and across the top of your head.

Secure it with a bobby pin.

Repeat with second braid, tucking the second braid under the first and securing it with another bobby pin.

You may need to add a few extra bobby pins to make it feel secure. Enjoy your braid!
