Making the Mold: Cool, nontoxic & and non-allergenic. Wiggling is not a problem as long hands remain submerged in molding material until it sets. Set time is about 3-4 min, including the mixing time.

In provided plastic bucket, mix entire bag Create-a-Mold powder with 12 cups water & stir for about 1-2 min. Sinks in hallway. Some lumps are okay.

Once bright pink color starts to fade, insert the foot, hand or pairs of hands into the molding material. Within 1-3 min after turning white, the mold sets.

Carefully wiggle the foot or hand(s) out of the molding material.

Mix bag of casting stone powder with 3 cups of water. Mix well in disposable tin. Some lumps will remain.

Mix the bag of casting stone with water. Pour the casting stone into the mold. Do not pour in drains. Let the casting stone harden. Clean hands with wipes.

Once poured, the casting stone will set in as soon as 30 min(smaller castings), but take up to 2 hrs to cure for larger castings. You will know it has cured when it is hard and cool to the touch.

Tear open the mold, remove the statue and enjoy.

Once demolded, allow to dry fully in an open (no shelves, dark closets, etc) well-ventilated environment.

Drying time is approximately 1-2 days for ea 1/2 inch of thickness. Once fully dry, the statue can be sealed with water-based paints

Optional Finish: Paint and/or seal. Use 2-3 thin coats acrylic paint. Mod Podge sealant is best when applied in 2 thin layers only after paint is dry.

Safety 1: Molding agent is water based w/ primary ingredient of processed seaweed. Non-allergenic and non-toxic.

Safety 2: Used in the medical &dental professions to help make various types of prosthetics, including dentures, &to protect the most sensitive of open wounds.

Safety 3: As with any powder, you should avoid inhalation. Otherwise, safe for the prepared material to come into contact with even a newborn baby’s skin.

Rings: Be extra careful when removing the ring hand from the mold. You want to move sideways to remove the ring from the mold before pulling the hand upwards and out of the mold.

Repairing Broken Part- Step One: Wait until dry. Then add super glue to detached piece. Hold in place for at least 1 min until glue sets.

Repairing- Step Two: If needed, fresh casting stone mix can be applied to outside area of the break to smooth in any gaps or chips.
