How to create a hand made of book paper- sydney kerin

Rip a piece of paper towel to make each part of the hand. Each of the five fingers, the palm, and wrist will all be made separately. Mold the paper until it resembles the shape you are looking for.

Add duct tape around each of the individual shapes. For fingers, use one small piece of tape on each side, allowing for the middle section to be bent. This will shape a knuckle.

Start putting all the pieces together, starting with the wrist and palm. Use tape to secure it as seamless as possible. Then begin adding the fingers with tape as well.

When you finish putting all the fingers on, add more tape and paper towel pieces where it needs to be thicker, to make it more realistic. I made the lower half of the fingers thicker.

Get your book paper ready by ripping it out and into smaller sections. Paper with lots of words, diagrams, or pictures look more interesting.

Dip the book paper in the ModPodge and squeeze out the excess using your pointer and middle finger. Then place the paper onto the hand. It looks better with less white space.

Finish putting all the paper on the hand. Smooth edges as best as you can.
