This Card uses the items in the picture above, plus a few coordinating pattered papers (I used double-sided).

Size for the base of the card: 5 1/2\u201d x 8 1/2\u201d (folded in half). If you want to have a patterned paper on top of your base, cut it to 4 1/4\u201d x 5 1/2\u201d.

I first use my Designer Templates to help create the look I want by laying them out on the base of the card. I love how they allow me to see what it will look like before I have to cut anything!

Once you have your design ready, the next step is to trace & cut the different elements out of your paper. I used the Ring DT as a circle and cut the bottom off so it wouldn't show at the bottom.

After cutting the piece out, try inking the edges with your dauber to give it a clean look and a great POP to the layers.

After tracing, cutting, & Inking the edges, place each element back on your project in place of the Designer Template so that you do not forget your design as you go along.

When tracing a border, make sure to place it at the edge of your paper so that it minimizes the amount of cutting that you need to do.
