How to create a ceramic slab cylinder

Flatten out a piece of clay

Roll it out so that it is 1/2 inch thick

Cut out the base and the top

Roll out the side wall for yor cylinder

Score (scratch) the base and top

Score where the side wall meets the base

Cut off the excess clay.

Score and add slip to all the seems.
