Fair warning this is a LONG guide. This can be make of cobblestone or stone bricks. Warning I am not the best at designing the interior of buildings.
Find flat ground and make a frame for your castle
Add some framework
Add more framework
Go to the front where you want the "door" to be
Remove the blocks shown
Add a frame
Add the Door's floor
Fences for gate
Lights!
Fill in framework and remove dirt floor
Make the floor cobblestone to make the courtyard
Find a corner
Follow what I do
Add it to all of the corners
Add a circle
Add another circle
And another one
Add turrets
Do the same for all of the towers
Do what I do
Same with all of the turrets
Remove inside turrets
Fill in gaps
Add turrets
Do the same for all sides
Make bridges
Make bridge on all sides
Add wall with turrets
Round the bottom of the towers like so...
Add more light to the courtyard
Break holes in the towers like so...
Add ladders
This makes the archery towers complete
Make shops and stores in the courtyard, make animal pens or just about anything you want in the courtyard
Now you are done!
