Cover vintage finding with gesso.
Apply Crackle Texture Paste to vintage finding.
Once crackle texture paste is dry, paint with your favorite acrylic paint color, thinning the paint with Acrylic Glazing Liquid.
Prepare adhesive metal sheets by embossing with your favorite embossing folder.
Using three different colors of alcohol ink, color each embossed metal sheet.

Cut metal sheets into random sized pieces.
Machine stitch cut pieces of metal together, creating a patchwork look. Adhere stitched pieces to Relics & Artifact Butterfly piece. Even though the metal is self-adhesive, I applied gel medium
To create the ‘sun’, paint wood sticks with metallic alcohol ink and spray mist.
Gather vintage findings, finished Relics & Artifact butterfly, and painted metal piece. Assemble all pieces with E6000 glue to ensure they are permanently in place.
