How to create a box out of paper

Small boxes to put small things in! Or give as gifts - I put cookies in mine this time.

Get your 12 x 12 stock paper.

Fold in half diagonally.

Unfold and do it again on opposite diagonal.

Unfold. There should be four triangles.

Fold triangles into center

Look like this

Take on side and fold into center - hot dog bun style

Other side - like a cabinet

Unfold. Fold and crease other side

Unfold, unfold one triangle and then the triangle opposite it as well.

Fold and crease - look like this

Ok this is the tricky part. Take one end and fold it on the diagonal.

Unfold - it should look like this where there is one diagonal crease.

Diagonal fold same end, other side

Now same on other end

Unfold take both long sides and tilt them towards the sky.

On one end you're going to bend the diagonal creases you just made INWARDS.

If you fold both diagonal creases inward - you'll start to see the box. The end should naturally come up.

Take the end that's facing up and push and fold into side of box. Other side

Fold other end into center of box, after folding diagonally inwards.

There you go!! You made a paper box. Enjoy!
