How to create a basic fishtail braid

Start with your hair down.

Next, pull into a low side ponytail on one side of your head and secure with an elastic.

Separate your hair into two equal parts

Take a small piece of hair from one side

And cross it over to the other side

Repeat the same step on the other side

Stop braiding when you have a few inches of hair left

Secure with another elastic

And you are done your fishtail!
