How to create a airplane cake

Level your 2 cakes

Cut the first one in half

Like so

Cut the ends of the second one

Like so

Take the middle of you second cake

Cut in half

Take the ends of your second cake and cut in half

Like so

Take to parts from that

Cut the corners off. Mine were to short so I took some cake of the middle piece so the could stand higher (see next pic).

Look! Now they stand higher! Clever right?!?!

Take your first cake and put frosting between them and them stack them (see next picture). If you need a frosting recipe check my guide for frosing

This is how you should stack these babies

Take the middle piece of you second cake and put on the side of your halves

Now put the pieces that you cut of your middle piece in the end of your halves

Yes both of them!

Now put the ends of your second cake on the side of the stacked pieces

And the other ones on the stacked pieces

Should look like this

Now it's all ready! Well almost... FROSTING!
