Toast quinoa with olive oil for about five minutes
Combine peas, salt, pepper & anything else you want to add while toasting quinoa.
Add toasted quinoa to peas & bring to a boil...
After peas & quinoa start to boil, drop temp to low, cover & simmer for 20-30 mins.
Start browning your venison (turkey, lean beef, etc.).
While peas & quinoa are cooling, I like to add lemon juice, more salt & pepper to taste.
Combine everything together, or leave the meat out for your vegetarian friends & serve with generous amounts of hot sauce. Enjoy lean, protein & fiber packed meals for days!
