Yes, it's good for you...but if it doesn't taste good nobody will eat it. This is easy to make and taste great. It's delicious!
Chop broccoli into bite-size pieces.
The stems are edible too! I learned this from a Chinese Food cooking class many years ago. Peel off the outer thick skin and chop.
Toss with 1-2 tablespoons of EVOO, sprinkle with salt and pepper. I use a baking dish with a layer of parchment paper (for easy clean up).
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
After about 15 minutes you'll notice brown crispy edges.
Toss with a handful of roasted sunflower seeds and a handful of Parmesan cheese.
