Preheat your oven to 450\u00b0F. Place your trout fish fillets, skin side down, on a foil covered cookie sheet.

Drizzle lightly with olive oil. Use your fingers to rub it in. On both sides.

Melt about a tablespoon of butter in a microwave or stovetop. Let it cool slightly.

This is Montreal Steak seasoning. It contains coarse ground black & red pepper, garlic, salt, paprika, and onion so if you don't have this, you can just mix together those spices and use that mixture.

Put the fish in the 450\u00b0F. oven for 5 - 8 minutes until done (when opaque).

Done! Now usually I stick this under the broiler for a couple of minutes for a crustier, golden brown fillet but alas, my broiler isn't working. It will still be yummy.
