First, wash the uncooked rice in a strainer. (For Safety Purposes
Measure out 1 full cup of rice
Measure out double the amount of water as rice in a 2:1 Ratio. For our purpose, we'll use 2 cups of water.
Put the salt into the water. (This will help it boil faster, and will add taste to the rice)
Wait until the water boils. (Boiling water is 100 degrees Celsius, and the water will have bubbles.)
Add the rice to the boiling water
Add butter into the pot, with the rice.
Place a lid on the pot and wait for the rice to cook.
Stir the rice every five minutes.
After 18 Minutes Turn the stove off, and let the rice rest, with the lid on, for 15 minutes.
Tip out rice into a plate, and serve hot.
If you want, serve with a curry for additional taste!

- 1/2tsp Table Salt
- 1.0Tbsp Butter
