INGREDIENTS
Gather supplies
Lightly brown onions and garlic in pan with vegetable oil
Add the boiling water and red lentils and bring to boil
Add can of chopped tomatoes and bring down heat to a simmer
Once the lentils have begun to soften, add the 3 spices
Once stirred in, add some butter
Add more water if necessary
Serve with chapatis (see my other guides). Enjoy!
- 250.0ml Red lentils
- 1.0 Onion
- 500.0ml Boiling water
- 2.0Tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2.0 Cloves Of garlic
- 2.0tsp Cumin
- 2.0tsp Tumeric
- 2.0tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1.0pch Salt
- 1.0 Can of chopped tomatoes
- 1.0tsp Butter
