How to cook overnight oatmeal

A really healthy no cook cold oatmeal breakfast. Tastes like a parfait! Great for the summer!

INGREDIENTS

In a bowl with a lid, mix the oats and milk. Make sure the oats are well covered by the milk (they will soak it all up). Cover, and let sit in the fridge overnight (yep that's the 'overnight' part..)

In the morning it will look like this and will have a very creamy consistency.

Grate an apple (skin and all, ok maybe not the core ;) onto the oatmeal.

Mix the grated apple in well. Scoop out as much as you want to eat into a bowl (and save the rest covered in the fridge for tomorrow).

Add yogurt,  berries and any other fruit you like.

Drizzle with the maple syrup and sprinkle with almonds.

  • 1.0c Milk (or almond milk)
  • 1.0 Apple
  • 1/4c Greek yogurt
  • Strawberries, blueberries, or any other fruit
  • 1.0tsp Maple syrup
  • 1.0Tbsp Slivered almonds
