Take one of your beat up baking pans and line it with parchment paper When  you're done, the pan can go back to where you keep it, completely clean and dry.

If you want to eat good bacon, then buy good bacon.  Ask your butcher for THICK sliced bacon. The stuff in supermarkets is too stringy and doesn't work as well with this cooking method.

This batch was in for 15 minutes.  I put the whole tray on the oven top and the bacon continued to cook and eventually cooled down to a crisp state.

Put the paper towel in the middle of the parchment and roll it up into an envelope.  Now just put the wrap in the garbage. Put the tray back in the cupboard.  There's nothing left to clean.
