Now add the egg and stir it all together. (It may be easier if you whisk the egg in a separate bowl first and then add it if you'd like.)

Next, scoop out small balls of the salmon mixture and place in frying oil. Once the salmon balls are in the frying oil, flatten them into patties using a spatula. Cook for a few minutes on each side.

The amount of time you should fry these really just depends on how hot your grease is. Either way they should be golden brown like this.

Here are mine after they're done. This recipe makes about 6-8 patties depending on how small or big you make them.
