INGREDIENTS
2 lbs of mussels
Put into a colander
Wash mussels
Check them all, looking for cracked shells
Like this one.
Discard it
Ingredients are garlic, lime juice (or lemon) and white wine
Add mussels to pot, add wine. I used half a carton ... About 6 oz
Add lime juice
Add a nice scoop of chopped garlic
Be generous!
Cover pot and let boil for about a minute.
Check mussels. When the shells open, they are done!
Pair it with some crusty bread and something to drink!
Voila!
If you come across shells that haven't opened, discard it. Enjoy!
