STEPS
INGREDIENTS
There are many ways to cook meat toasts. You can choose any topping you like, you can even add sauces or some spiciness. I think these are light on your stomach, instead of using fried tortilla.
Prepare the ground meat. I used tomatoes, lemon, green pepper, plenty of coriander, garlic and all purpose seasoning. Let it rest for a moment.
Cook at medium fire, don't stir it up too much so the meat won't cook too lose. Personally, I prefer the meat to cook up in chunks.
This is how it looks once it's nicely cooked. You can also add small pieces of potatoes before cooking it.
The tortillas were already made when I bought them so I just toasted them on a warm skillet or 'comal' and flipped them once in a while to give that nice crunchiness to them.
These are the ingredients for the toppings. (The avocado skipped the photo).
You can make which ever topping you like.
This is called 'pico de gallo' or 'chismol'. Diced tomatoes, onions and green pepper; all in equal parts. Add some coriander, salt and lemon or vinegar.
This is a mixture of grated carrots and cucumbers. You can add salt as you please.
Grated white cheese.
You can't miss the avocado. I didn't smash them the whole way through.
Put the toasted tortilla, a bit of avocado, meat, toppings and the cheese. ENJOY!
