STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Measure 2 Tbsp of soy sauce in a container. I added a bit of sesame seeds for flavor.
Add 1 Tbsp of flour to the soy sauce.
Add 1 Tbsp of cornstarch to the soy sauce/ flour mixture.
Mix all the ingredients together.
Add the cubed chicken to soy sauce mixture.
Mix the soy sauce and chicken together and marinade the chicken for at least 5 mins.
Add 1/3 cup honey to a separate container.
Add 2 tsp brown sugar to the honey mixture.
Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce to the honey mixture.
Add 1 tsp of minced garlic to the honey mixture.
Add 1 tsp of minced onions to the honey mixture.
Add 1 tsp of ginger to the honey mixture.
Add 1 Tbsp sesame seeds to the honey mixture.
Add 1/3 cup of chicken broth or pineapple juice to the honey mix.
Mix all the honey ingredients together and sit aside.
Chop a medium onion or half of a large red onion in chunks.
Add 1 Tbsp of sesame oil into a pan on high heat.
Add the onions and sauté until golden. This takes around 5 mins. If you want your onions to be nice and savory, add a bit of chicken broth or vegetable broth to cook them.
When the onions are almost finished cooking, add the chicken.
Cook until golden brown. This is about 2 mins on each side. Turn the temperature to low heat.
Add the honey mixture to the chicken.
Cover on low for 5 minutes.
Ta-da! Lovely honey sesame chicken.
Serve with your favorite side and enjoy! You've earned it!

A nerdy lady that likes to cook. I usually throw ingredients together and it turns out great. :) Ive made it a personal goal to cook everything on the grill.
