“Ramen” noodle is boiled and then cooled in ice cold water, and placed on a dish, usually not as deep as regular “Ramen” bowl.
Popular toppings include, egg crepe strips, cucumber, ham, and bean sprouts.
Others include, tomato, steamed chicken, and seaweed, etc…depending on restaurants or homes.
Toppings are usually stripped and placed neatly on top of the noodles, as seen in the picture.
Soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame based cold dressing is poured over the noodles and toppings.
It is also common to put some “Karashi” mustard as a supplement.
