Add the adobo and rub all over the steaks. Don't skimp,use your hands and dive right in.
Add your onion powder.
The garlic powder.
The sazon accent.
Now slice up your onions. We are marinating them too.
Pour some red wine vinegar on them. Set aside.
Take out your hot cast iron pan or a regular pan will do. Put some oil on it and spread it.
I'm using my little brush and I'm prepping my griddle with oil for my yummy steaks. We are not frying them. We are grilling them. A little oil is all we need.
Steaks need high heat to sear the meat and to form a crust so please set your pan or grill over high heat(you might want to turn your smoke alarm off at this point,she will scream.)
We will sear the first side for two minutes,maybe three. That's it. We want a juicy steak not a dry one. Plus these steaks are thin and cook quickly .
When we start to see the blood coming out of our steaks it is time to turn them over.
Look at that crust..nomnom. That's what i'm talking about! :) Cook the second side for two minutes as well.THATS ALL. Don't turn off the heat just yet,lower it just a little though.
Take them off the grill and put them on a plate. Take some foil and fold to form a tent and place it over the steaks. We need to keep them warm. Are you ready for the onions? Well leggo..
In the same grill or pan you used to cook steak put in your onions.
Shake some Worcestershire over them and maybe a drizzle of oil if it seems too dry .
Will you just look at that . I bet you can just taste them. They are to die for.
Place your onions on top of the steak sand serve with a salad or alone. ;) From mi casa, to your casa. Enjoy.
Well, this was how I served myself. I like to add sriracha sauce and A1 on top of my steak. Not that the steak needed it, but I DID.lol
- 3-4 semi boneless chuck steak
- 1.0Tbsp Adobo all purpose seasoning
- 1 pck of sason accent
- 1.0tsp Onion powder
- 1.0tsp Garlic powder
- 0.0c Worcestershire sauce
