Gather your ingredients together. a mini food processor will be very useful.
Halve fresh chilies core,seed and coarsely chop them. Add to mini food processor with dried chilies and spices blend in mini-processor until fresh chilies are blended into powder completely.
Using kitchen shears cut open shrimp from center to back of tail and devein.
Sauté spice chili blend on medium heat for 1 minute.
Sauté shrimp in oil and spices tossing frequently until they begin to take on color about 4 or 5 minutes. Increase heat to med-high and add beer. Toss for 2 minutes and cover for 2 minutes.
Reduce heat to low toss in lime and lemon juice and steam with cover on for 2 more minutes.
Pour entire mixture into serving bowl top with fresh parsley and serve have an empty bowl or two available for shells. Serves 4 to 6
- 1.0 whole Serrano chili
- 1.0 whole habanero chili
- 2.0 whole Thai Chili Peppers
- 2.0Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
- 1.0tsp Ancho chili
- 1/2tsp dried chipotle chili powder
- 1/4lb Fresh raw shrimp
- 1/2 fresh Lemon juiced
- 1.0 whole lime juiced
- 2.0Tbsp fresh chopped parsley
- 1.0c craft pale ale or saison beer
- 3.0Tbsp Grape seed or safflower oil
- 1.0 Wok or deep sauté pan
- 1.0 mini food processor
