How to cook easy peasy spaghetti carbonara

Roughly dice half an onion
Dice a cup of bacon
Slice 3 small mushrooms
Measure out 200mls of thickened cream
In a large saucepan, fill 3/4 full with water. Place on high heat on a stove and wait for it to boil. Once the water is boiling, add the salt.
Add spaghetti and boil for about 12 mins
While the spaghetti is boiling add the oil and onion to a medium sized saucepan and cook until onion is soft.
Once onion has softened add bacon and cook until it has slightly browned
Once bacon has browned add mushrooms and cook for a couple of minutes
Once mushrooms have been cooked add cream and simmer for 5 minutes
Once the spaghetti is cooked drain in colander
Once spaghetti is drained and the sauce is cooked, stir them both together and serve. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley spig
- 200.0g Spaghetti
- 200.0ml Thickened cream
- 1/2 Onion
- 1.0c Bacon
- 3.0 Small Mushrooms
- 2.0tsp Parmesan cheese
- 1.0Tbsp Olive oil
- 1.0tsp Salt
- 1.0 Spig of Parsley
