Preheat oven to 325. Rinse off the brisket, place in foil lined pan with fat side up.
If brisket came with seasoning packet, sprinkle that over top and add any other pepper or mixed seasoning you would like.
Cover tightly with foil. Place in preheated oven to cook for 2 1/2 hours.
After 2 1/2 hours, take foil off and cook for another 45 minutes.
Check the brisket by inserting fork into meat. If it goes in easily, it's ready. If resistance, bake for another 30 minutes, or up to an hour. Remove from oven, let rest, loosely covered w/ foil.
Slice and serve!
