Purchase your fresh Chinese green beans at an Asian market or your local grocer's produce department.
Fry your bacon in a skillet. Toss in your sliced onions, and cook them until they are golden.
Use your kitchen scissors to cut the beans into 3 to 4 inch long pieces.
Add the beans to the skillet, and sauté with the onions and bacon for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
Add a half cup if water to the skillet.
Cover, and let it steam for about 10 minutes. Add more water as needed.
Sprinkle a little bit of garlic powder on the beans. Stir it in.
Sprinkle about a half teaspoon of salt on. Stir it in.
Add the pho broth powder. Stir it in. Serve the beans on a plate. Squirt Sriracha to taste.
