STEPS
TOOLS
Squeeze Lemon Juice into pan on low heat
You can use either fresh oregano or oregano paste. Add to pan with Lemon Juice
Add extra virgin olive oil
Add garlic salt
Stir in pan until ingredients are throughly mixed
Add a pkg of ground chicken to your sauce
Increase heat to medium heat and fold mixture into meat.
Once fully cooked set aside to cool. Approx 20 minutes.
Unroll your phyllo pastry and cut into 3 sections. Take 1 section and place vertically in front of you. Take a heaping tbsp and place in the lower middle section of your pastry.
Begin wrapping your roll - use 2 sheets of pastry and fold over your meat.
Fold both ends towards the center
Then take the ends and fold again till your end if the pastry resembles an almost triangle.
Then roll your pastry to the end. This is what it should look like.
Place your rolls inside a deep square dish and set aside.
Combine all your wet ingredients again except instead of over the stove top just mix it in a small container until well blended.
Take a silicone brush and dip I to mixture and coat the tops of your rolls.
Bake at 420 degrees until golden brown. Approximately 30 minutes (depending on oven).
Serve hot with a side of Tzatziki Sauce for dipping, Greek roasted potatoes and salad. Recipe for Greek Roasted Potatoes coming up in my next snap guide. Enjoy!
