I prefer Peruvian beans they cook faster. Rinse 3 cups of beans, place in crock pot.
Add 11 cups of water.
Thin slice some onions, about 3-5 slices, depends how much you love onions. Add to crock pot.
1 teaspoon of chopped garlic (I like the one in olive oil). 4 teaspoons of salt. Add both to crock pot and stir.
Cook low for 8hrs. I recommend doing it before work because as good as they can be, smell can get mighty strong.
