How to cook bbq grilled chicken and onions
This recipe is for BBQ grilled chicken. I made a sandwich out of it, but you can eat it without the buns. :)

STEPS
INGREDIENTS
Turn on your grill to high heat and close the lid
Slice the onion.
Fillet the chicken breast so it will fit on a hamburger bun (if you are making a chicken burger) or you can cut the chicken into strips.
Grab the BBQ sauce. Pictured is a Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce I made using a modified version of a guide on here. If you want a store brand, I'd recommend bullseye. Yum!
Spoon 1 tsp on your chicken breast.
Take your hands or a brush and cover the chicken breast.
Repeat on each side and for each breast.
Throw the chicken and onions on the grill.
After 4 minutes, flip the chicken. You can tell it's ready because the edges will be white. When you flip the chicken, flip the onions as well. :)
I put additional BBQ sauce for extra flavor. Turn the temp to med-high and cook for 5 mins. When the internal temp reaches 165 Fahrenheit, it's done. If you want a sandwich, continue to the next step.
Now is a good time to start toasting your sandwich buns.
At this point, I added cheese on top of the chicken.
When the chicken is ready to take off, add the grilled onions on top.
Put the grilled BBQ chicken on top of a sandwich bun and serve with your favorite side. Enjoy!

A nerdy lady that likes to cook. I usually throw ingredients together and it turns out great. :) Ive made it a personal goal to cook everything on the grill.
