Picture of my ingredients
Start by heating your large pot to medium heat. You will want to put your ground sausage in the pot to brown. Sometimes I need to put a bit of olive oil I'm my pan to prevent sticking.
Once the meat is browned it is up to you if you would like to drain the fat off. I think fat is flavor so I kept it.
Once the meat is cooked fully add both your marinara sauce and Alfredo to the pan, keep the heat on medium.
Once fully combined add your ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and fontina cheese to the mixture. Keep your heat on and let it bubble.
Stir to combine. Let the mixture boil for about 2 min before adding your pasta.
Add in your ziti. You will want to let this cook for approx 2 more min. Once your 2 min is up you will want to remove it from the heat.
Grease a 9x13 inch pan and add your pasta mixture. Add extra mozzarella cheese on the top. Cook on 350 degrees for 20 min.
Once it is done cooking take out and let sit to slightly cool. Enjoy!
