The supplies minus the ground pepper!
Use on of these to smash the allspice. If you don't own one, put the allspice grains in a plastic bag and smash them with a wooden spoon.
If you choose the bag/spoon version, tell your family members to either leave the room or wear ear plugs, because it is a noisy business ;-)
Mix the egg with the dry ingredients.
Also add the W-sauce and the olive oil.
Let it rest for about 10 minutes.
I forgot to take a photo of the meat mixed with the flavoring. Spray the pan with olive oil and then spray your hands. This will help when forming the meat into patties of your desired size. I got 8!
It's a good idea to use a bigger pan than I did, as you can see it got a bit crowded. As you can see I poked a whole in each patty. Apparently the patties get a better shape in the oven if you do this
Use one bacon slice per patty.
Now they are ready to be put in the oven. Set the temperature to 125 degrees Celsius. Cook for about 25 minutes. Then change settings to GRILL and cook another 10 -15 minutes.
Dinner is ready! Serve with mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes and a nice gravy.
Of course there should have been veggies on the plate as well, but sadly the sugar snaps got overcooked...
- 700.0g Ground beef (or elk)
- 1.0 dl (0,1 liter) panko
- 0.0Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 3.0Tbsp Olive oil
- 1.0 Egg
- 0.0tsp Sage
- 3.0 Grains Allspice
- 1.0tsp Salt
- 2.0Tbsp Finely chopped leek
- Bacon slices (as many as you have patties)
