INGREDIENTS
Heat the oil in a medium sauté pan over medium heat.
Add the chopped green onions and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they begin to soften, but don't brown. Add the carrots and ginger and sauté for another 1 or 2 minutes

- 0.0c Chopped green onions (white and green parts)
- 1.0c Peeled and minced carrots (about 4 carrots)
- 2.0Tbsp Peeled and minced fresh ginger
- 1.0lb Ground pork
- 1.0 8-ounce can (about 1 cup) diced water chestnuts
- 0.0c Soy sauce (preferably low sodium)
- 2.0Tbsp Toasted Sesame oil
- 1.0 Big pinch of crushed red pepper flakes
- 0.0c Chopped fresh cilantro
- Large lettuce leaves (preferably Bibb lettuce)
