Cut the stem of the artichoke(s). Wash the artichoke(s) (put it several times under water).
You have 2 options to cook the artichoke(s) : in a pan or in a pressure cooker.
In a pan : in a big volume of cold salted water, put the artichoke(s) with the leaf that point down (not like on the picture :D) and cover. Let boil, reduce the heat and let cook 25 min.
In a pressure cooker : put the artichoke(s) in the pressure pan, cover them with water and salt. Once it's under pressure (high level), let cook 10 min.
