I don't know the English Word for this. It is not exactly soup because it is thicker. The translation app doesn't come up with anything. The Swedish word is "kräm".
Boil the water, 400 ml, with the sugar.
Add the chopped rhubarbs. Make sure the rhubarbs are covered. If you don't have access to rhubarbs, use apples instead, or strawberries and raspberries. Just remember to adjust the amounts of sugar.
Put on a lid and boil for 3-4 minutes. If you like the flavor of rhubarbs and cinnamon, add a cinnamon stick. It so happened that I forgot it this time...
In a separate bowl mix potato flour with some cold water.
Pour the flour mix into the rhubarb pan. Stir while adding the mix, making sure there are no flour lumps. Allow the rhubarbs to come to a boil and then remove the pan from the stove.
It surely smells delicious in my kitchen right now! Pour the "soup" into a container.
You can of course keep it in the pan but then it takes longer to cool it down, and also longer before you can enjoy it 😀.
Add some sugar on top. Let it cool.
Once the "soup" has cooled down - it doesn't have to be cold but you shouldn't burn your tongue either - enjoy it as it is..
..or with milk.
Yummy! Eat it as a snack or why not a small portion for breakfast?
