Add soy sauce, vinegar, fish sauce, 1 tbsp of sesame oil and sugar to the ground meat and mix evenly.
Don't forget - mix evenly! Yes! Use your fingers!!
Dice shallot, garlic and chili
Same with red bell pepper, broccoli and slice the green onion
Slice the broccoli evenly so it cooks evenly
Put peanut oil in pan and crank it up as hot as possible. Wait until it almost starts to smoke - no joke!
Add chili, garlic and about 20 seconds later the shallot
Add the ground beef
Use a spatula to create tiny bits of ground beef that fry more evenly
Add half of the Thai basil leaves
Stir fry evenly
Add the green onion
Add broccoli when the beef is almost done - just a few red spots left
Add red bell pepper 2 minutes later
Add a shot of soy sauce and another tablespoon of sesame oil. Stir frequently for 3-4 minutes, reduce heat and put a lid on the pan for 2-3 minutes. Add the remaining Thai basil leaves.
Put into a bowl
Fry an egg and put it on top. Voila! Enjoy your yummy meal.
- 10.0 leaves of Thai basil
- 1.0 clove of garlic
- 1.0 shallot
- 1.0 red chilli (w or w/o pits - pits eq. spicy)
- 200.0g 200ground beef (preferably organic)
- 2.0 green onions
- 1.0 red bell pepper
- 150.0g broccoli
- 10.0ml peanut oil
- 2.0Tbsp sesame oil
- 1.0pch (Or 4-5 drops) of fish sauce
- 1.0tsp seasoned vinegar for sushi or sake
- 1.0Tbsp soy sauce
- 1.0tsp brown sugar
- 1.0tsp Egg
