INGREDIENTS
Ingredients of spinach gnocchi. Any ingredients I didn't have at home I bought from the supermarket.
Wilting the leaves.
Placing the Wilted spinach, feta, Parmesan, egg, thyme in the food processor
Processed spinach ingredients
Mixing the flour and the spinach mixture together until just combined.
Italian tomato sauce. Any ingredients I didn't have I bought from the supermarket.
Sauté garlic and olive oil
Added diced tomatoes, sugar, vegetable stock, black pepper and basil leaves. Simmer till mixture thickens.
Gnocchi mixture made into gnocchi balls.
Place gnocchi balls into salted boiling water.
Place half the gnocchi dumplings into salted boiling water, and cook for uncovered for 5 minutes. The dumpling will rise to the surface half way through cooking.
Remove the cooked dumplings with a slotted spoon. And repeat the process of the remaining uncooked gnocchi.cooking time may vary depending on the size of the gnocchi
Add the tomato sauce to the gnocchi and then sprinkle with the remaining marinated feta. ENJOY!
- 300.0g Baby spinach leaves
- 350.0g Marinated feta
- 40.0g Parmesan cheese
- 1.0 Egg
- 2.0 Teaspoons fresh thyme
- 1/2 Cup of plain flour
- 1.0pch Black pepper
- Ingredients for tomato sauce
- 2.0Tbsp Olive oil
- 2.0 Cloves of garlic
- 400.0g Can tomatoes chopped
- 1/2 vegetable stock
- 1/4 White wine
- 1.0pch Sugar
- 1.0pch Black pepper
- 2.0Tbsp Basil leaves finely chopped
