How to combine foil with relics and artifacts

Gather your supplies, the transfer gel is a brand new, awesome product that works when heated and grabs your foil over a beautiful raised texture. It will be available March 2017, look for it!!!

Fill your stencil with the transfer gel. I'm experimenting over tissue because it's easier to layer over or in this case inside my wood tray

When you use the transfer over a solid surface the transfer is perfect. Tissue is soft so some if it spilled on the sides. I'm not too concerned since this is mixed media after all. Set aside to dry

Yes it's nail polish, but it works great on the relics and leaves a beautiful enamel finish for the perfect shade of red !

Once your transfer gel is dry, put the foil shiny side up make a paper jacket and get it through your laminator. Deco foil is designed to sustain heat and works beautifully

Reveal time!!! Gives you a beautiful impression with the foil!

Layer the tissue inside your tray and embellish with the flower and jewels! They kinda look like strands in her hair!

I wanted more depth so I recycled an almost empty piece of red foil over the frame of my tray

See the small specks of red over her face!
