How to clean the makeup brush with household products

Use dish washing detergent mix with olive oil in equal quantity (I used 1tsp each for one load). The detergent will clean the residual from brushes while olive oil helps shoot and avoid the frizz

Mix both ingredients on a plate like so

Damp your makeup brush

Dip the brush in half and half just to make it coat half of the brush

Brush it on the clean side of the plate or in your palm..see all the leftover cosmetic coming right out

Clean the brush over COLD running water...you may repeat with the detergent again for those heavy duty brush like concealer or eye liner brush. It is considered clean when the running water is clean

I use brush guard to cover the makeup brush for perfect shaping when drying

Continue with other brushes ..add more of the detergents if require

Put the brushes in a tall glass facing the brush down! This way it will prevent the water from sitting in the glue base which will make the fur fall too soon. Let it dry in airflow area

If you don't have brush guard, just tide the brush with elastic band and hand it upside down with the cloth pin, it will work the same.
