How to clean candle wax off your carpet

If you're a klutz (like me) and was trying to show off your amazing new candle to a friend and spilled the wax everywhere and now need a solution to clean it up, this guide's for you!

The hardened wax.

Any brown paper bag or shopping bag works

Cut the bag into strips appropriate to the size of your wax spill.

Have a towel handy next to you during the cleaning procedure.

Warm up your iron.

Place the paper bag over the spill like so.

Start to iron over it, using the direct heat to melt the wax off of the carpet onto the paper! The paper absorbs the wax very well. After you use up a strip, place it onto your handy towel.

Keep repeating process...

I used up all my strips from one shopping bag!

Yes...it's like the spill never happened ;)
