How to clean a silver plated platter

Picked this up from a thrift store and wanted to give it a good cleaning and hopefully bring back some shine.

Squirt a good amount of ketchup on platter.

Spread it out with even coverage. Let set an hour or so.

Wash away ketchup. Use a dish scrubber to scrub a bit.

Ready for service.
