How to christmas stocking

Using A4 paper draw template and add .25 inch seam allowance before cutting out

Using A4 paper draw foot template and add .25 inch seam allowance before cutting out. Join to first piece at marks

Using joined template cut 2 batting. Add 3.5 inches to length and cut 2 each of main and lining fabric . Use toe pattern and trace onto bondaweb. Iron bondaweb to lining fabric and cut out 2 toes

Peel off backing paper from toes and Iron in place on foot

Lay ribbon across join and sew in position

Join each main stocking to corresponding lining at the top only

Layer and pin 1 batting , back and front ( right sides together ) 1 batting

Sew all around leaving a 4 inch opening approximately 5 inches down from top joined seam

Trim and turn right side out through opening and press. Sew opening closed

Push lining foot into main foot between the two batting and press . Sew lace along top edge on lining side .

Fold ribbon in half and sew in position on the inside of stocking 5 inches down from top

Turn down cuff to batting level to finish
