STEPS
INGREDIENTS
In 9x9 pan, place foil then spray with cooking oil (Pam).
Measure out 3 cups granulated sugar.
Pour into large pan. ...don't turn on heat yet!
Add 3/4 cup butter or 1 1/2 sticks.
Take out can of evaporated milk.
Measure out 2/3 cup.
Pour into pan. Wait till turn on heat. With fudge ya gotta work fast. So prepare the next step in separate bowl.
Measure out 3 cups chocolate chips.
Spray measure cup for marshmallow creme.
Measure out 1 1/2 cups.
Pour in with the chocolate chips.
Next step will be the nuts and vanilla. Measure out 1 cup walnuts.
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. If making without nuts...add vanilla last separate from chips and creme.
Now we are ready. Warn everyone that you are starting the fudge. Do not leave this. Start heat on medium.
Start stirring to keep it from scorching.
Stir till all butter is melted. Keep stirring. Now while stirring watch for bubbles.
See those starting to form on edge? Not long now.
See the bubbles now coming up in the center? This is what we want. Stir well for 4 min.
Set timer...and keep on stirring entire 4 min.
Should look like this. Full rolling boil.
When 4 min is done..add to prepared bowl ..and mix well. By this time you may need to call upon another arm to stir!
When all mixed up add nuts and vanilla or just vanilla.
Mix well.
Pour into prepared pan.
Cover with foil. I then put into freezer for 30 min. Or you can wait till cool and hardens..can take up to 4 hours.
When 30 min in freezer is over. Flip over on cutting board.
Cut up into desired sizes.
Place into air tight container with wax paper in between layers. Seal.
Yum! So good. Enjoy!
For without nuts..pour into pan. Place into freezer for 30 min.
After 30 min in freezer, flip over on cutting board like the nut fudge.
Peel off the foil.
Cut up into pieces.
Place in container that can seal.
Use wax paper in between layers.
Place another layer till done!
So yummy!
Don't forget to seal so fudge doesn't dry out. Enjoy!
