Gather all of your supplies. Oil, filter, wrench, and drain pan.

Locate and remove the oil cap on the side of the engine.

Locate the oil drain plug and the oil filter under the engine.

Loosen the plug with a wrench, then by hand. Before you remove the drain plug, make sure your drain pan is under it so that the oil will drain into the pan.
