How to chalkboard your wall

First pick a wall. I chose one close to our kitchen "the heart of our home" that we pass everyday.

Get your supplies ready.

Tape off the are you want to paint. You can do a whole wall. I plan on framing it so I just did a portion.

Start painting.

I did about 8 coats. 4hr dry time In between. The more coats the thicker the better writing will appear.

Then use your imagination! I let the kids draw on the bottom half. And put our family schedule and dinner menu on it.
