Buy a blank piece of balsa wood which has the hole for the CO2 canister already cut out

Draw your design and do a rough cut around your drawing

Cut out excess wood to reduce weight of car and sand to regulations

Drill axel wholes then spray a coat of wood putty and sand then repeat

Paint your car whatever colour you desire

Cut axels to size and get wheels

Glue the wheels onto the axel and screw eyelets into the bottom of the car (they will lead the car when racing)

Do final decorations to car
