How to build a sofa table from a cable drum

Find a cable drum with the desired height an width. I wanted min low and wide

Place the wheels

Make sure the wheels don't stick out, or it will annoy you later on...

Drill a hole before screwing the screws in. This will prevent the wood from splitting

2 screws for each wheel should do. If - like in my case - the screws are to small, add a washer

Remove small nails and stuff

Be patient, there might be a lot...

Don't remove the large nails, they hold the drum together. If they stick out, use a hammer and a piece of metal to lower them

Sand it down, not to much or it will ruin the rustic look. Optional: oil
