How to block a contact in ios 7

First save the persons number to your contacts. You can delete it later

Tap Settings

Scroll down and tap Phone

Scroll down and tap Blocked

Tap Add New

Then select the person from your contacts you want to block and it will appear in blocked. A blocked contact can not phone you , send you messages or FaceTime you

You can now delete the persons number from your contacts. The person will still be blocked
