Preheat the oven 170C convention. Otherwise 180C
180 for classical ovens
This is all what you need to make the cookies dough
Also Measuring utensils
Or a scale
Baking tray lined with parchment paper
The ingredients+1 tbsp or more of milk
Mix flour with spices, salt and baking powder. Add the butter in cubes and crumble with fingers
Add the sugar and the dried fruits
Add the dried fruits. If you have time soak the dried fruits in water, orange juice or in rhum if you don't have children around
Then add the 1 egg lightly beaten and 1 tbsp of milk
Roughly spoon them or just distribute the dough by hands... Children will have fun doing that. Then dip them in brown sugar for more crunchy bites
Bake them 18-20 mins. Turn around The tray at mid time for even baking.
